The fibers absorb liquid and form a gel-like substance that helps increase intestinal activity and speed up the process. However, this effect is only sustainable if the dog also drinks enough water. Because the fibers draw in liquid, otherwise the dog may risk constipation. Therefore, it's important to mix Digestive with water to achieve the intended effect.
